All About Me…
I have always been a country girl at heart growing up dirt biking, riding horses, and getting out on the hills and thrashing in the snow. Being blessed with 3 boys was the a perfect match for me because I have an adoration for the outdoors and playing with the beautiful landscape Mother Nature has given us.
It is my favorite place to take my clients to, whether the backdrop is fields full of wild flowers or robust trails and forests, using natural lighting and a natural organic environment. When the weather is less than we’d hoped for or I have little ones to photograph, I have a home studio. It keeps babes out of the elements, ensuring both they and their mamas are warm and happy.
I began playing with photography in High School. There, I learned to develop my own film and exposing it to paper through an enlarger and then watching the magic of photography come to life as we washed the paper. Back then, because you only ever had one shot at taking ‘the’ photo with the film, you had to practice extreme caution and accuracy in your angles and how you saw the finished product.
Although we live in an age of digital phenomenon, I take pride in being an organic photographer, and I work tirelessly at maintaining the integrity of my clients and their vision when doing a shoot. I do minimal editing yet my clients will tell you that I am still able to provide beautiful images that they can hang on the walls and be proud of for years to come.
Capturing your life moments is my passion. An extrovert in all I do, I love meeting new people and creating new relationships. My ability to provide exceptional photos in a friendly and open way is what builds lasting friendships from which I am blessed to say, brings my clients back year after year.
